Mechanical Construction & Service

Mechanical Contracting is one of the major trades that we self-perform. Our construction and service division specializes in new building construction as well as renovations. We can tackle projects of various sizes, along with aggressive schedules thanks to our fabrication shops.

Design-Build

S.P. McCarl partners with qualified engineers, architects and manufactures to provide design and construction services for building owners. This option minimizes risk to the owner, results in faster project deliveries, and often reduces overall cost. Collaboration with all parties is critical to ensure a successful design-build project.

Service Division

S.P. McCarl’s Service Division specializes in HVAC planned maintenance, repairs, new installations and retrofits. We staff highly skilled technicians that care about their work, are thorough with inspections, and are customer-focused.Our planned maintenance program is critical for HVAC systems. This program extends the lifespan of the equipment, helps reduce repairs, and can also reduce operating expenses.

Fabrication Shops

S.P. McCarl has two fabrication shops for piping and sheet metal. Fabrication decreases onsite installation saving our clients time and money. The quality of work is enhanced due to work being performed in a controlled environment. We are able to fabricate various types and sizes of sheet metal and pipe.

Piping & Process Piping

We have years of experience performing piping and process piping for industrial, chemical, and food processing plants. Many of these plants require sanitary or ASME welds that need to withstand harsh, vibrating environments. Our welds continually hold the test of time. We currently hold our R, PP, S and U stamps for ASME welding.

BIM

We have the capabilities to self-perform BIM and coordination for construction and renovation projects. We utilize AutoCAD fabrication, Navisworks, and Revit for coordination, clash detection, and layout. Our field has a total robotic station with the ability to perform 3D scanning.

JOC

We have a team of project managers and field trades that focus on Job Order Contract projects. This team manages various projects at once, many of which are fast-paced and very challenging work. On these projects, we collaborate early in the process with the engineer and customer to ensure projects go smoothly.
